Here’s the latest LED control technology, which you can now to operate all your exterior LED strip lighting using a single RF remote! Want to use submersible ip68 LED strips to illuminate your camper, R.V., pool, deck, cottage, docks, boat or any outdoor area of the sort? The iP68 Submersible RF Multi Zone Single Color LED Strips Kit from LED Montreal is what you need! It allows you to sync an unlimited amount of those Submersible ip68 Single Color LED Strips in each of the four available zones. Plus, it works in extremely simple and effective fashion!

One simple remote to control everything.
The Multi Zone RF remote operates on 2.4 GHz frequency, giving it a range of at least 20 meters and the RF signal doesn’t require you to point at the controller. The center touchpad gives you control over the brightness of your lighting (up-down). You can also assign an unlimited amount of single color strips to whichever one of the 4 available zones. 

About the Submersible ip68 LED Strips.
For any outdoor use, we highly recommend using one of the Submersible ip68 LED Strips. Mixing the energy and money saving features of the LED strips with the water protection required for this type of setup, they are the best option for your exterior lighting needs. They’re especially great for your camper, R.V., house, cottage, boat or any similar outdoor use. Unlike the regular ip65 LED Strips that are waterproof on 3 sides, the Submersible ip68 LED Strips are encased in a thick clear tube filled with silicon so they are completely waterproof.  Please note only the Strip is waterproof. The connectors on each end of the Strip, the controller as well as the remote must not come in contact with humidity or liquids since they are not waterproof, so please make sure that you properly protect these parts from humidity. The iP68 strips are not self adhesive, to maintain them in place we suggest using GE pure silicone and double-sided adhesive tape. Simply put the silicone on the back of the strip, then put the double-sided tape on top of the silicone. Once the silicone is dry, your strip is ready to install! Additional option when looking for a sharp and subtle way to hold your ip68 LED strips, the Silicone Mounting Brackets for LED Strips from LED Montreal are a great solution. The 4 Zone set up is the coolest thing ever!
A few examples:

  • •    Control the lighting around your pool on Zone 1, your deck on Zone 2, your awning on Zone 3 and your garden on Zone 4.
  • •    Divide your boat lighting in two zones and control one section with Zone 1 and another section of the same area using Zone 2.
  • •    Alternatively, you could set up the whole area on a single zone and have all your strips change color in sync... that’s how powerful and versatile this kit is!


Adding on to a Zone is easy!

For a new product or a product that has never been linked before:

  1. Disconnect the power supply from the controller.
  2. Turn the light back on and within 3 seconds; press the ON (│) button of the zone you want to assign (1 to 4) on the remote control.
  3. The light will slowly flash 3 times to indicate that it was successfully linked.


Change a light from one zone to another.
If the light you want to add to a zone was previously assigned to a different one, you will first need to unlink that light.

  1. Identify which zone the light is currently assigned to.
  2. Turn off the light(s) you want to program. 
  3. Power the light back on and within 3 seconds; press the ON button of the previously assigned zone 5 times quickly.
  4. You can then proceed and program your light according to the add-on procedure outlined above.

Your power sources.

Please note that although you can sync and control an unlimited amount of LED Strips in each Zone, make sure that you have a power outlet available for each 20 meters of 3528 LED Strip within the same zone.  For example, if you wish to light up your favorite area with 30 meters of ip68 3528 LED Strip, your kit should connect as follow:

Circuit 1: 1-10A Power supply, 1- T shape connector, 1- RF Controller, 4- 5m spools of ip68 3528 LED Strips
Circuit 2: 1- 6A Power supply, 1- RF Controller, 2- 5m spools of ip68 3528 LED Strips

Configuration for 20 meters of ip68 3528 LED Strip:
20 meters is the maximum length of 3528 strip that you can connect on a single circuit. You have to connect 2 strips (10m) on the left output and 2 strips (10m) on the right output. You can't connect 3 or 4 strips one after the other on the same output, the tension on the circuit will be too high and you will damage your strips.

Configuration for 15 meters ip68 3528 LED Strip:
You have to connect 2 strips (10m) on one side and 1 strip (5m) on the other. You can't connect 3 or 4 strips one after the other on the same output, the tension on the circuit will be too high and you will damage your strips.

Configuration for 10 meters of ip68 5050 LED Strip:
You have to connect 1 strip (5m) on one side and 1 strip (5m) on the other. You can't connect more than one strip of 5050 on the same output, the tension on the circuit will be too high and you will damage your strips. Note that for 10m of ip68 3528

For every 15m-20m 3528 kit or 10m 5050 kit, your package will include a Y shape splitter, which you need in order to split your circuit as evenly as possible. On longer circuits like these, the light might tend to get dim on the ends if power isn't distributed evenly.
