8 feet aluminum U shape profile for LED Strip (LUX1210)
Give your LED strips a refined look while ensuring proper heat management with this aluminium profile. Designed to dissipate heat away from your LED strip, it helps extend its lifespan and keep it performing at its best. The 8 Foot U-Shaped Aluminum Profile for LED Strip Lights from LED Montreal offers a clean and polished way to complete your LED strip installation.
Ideal for linear lighting installations in a variety of spaces, such as under cabinets, inside closets, beneath shelves, under stair steps, and in other applications.
Made in Canada, this 8 foot profile is UR certified and designed for IP20, an IP65+ or certain IP67 LED strips. It is not intended for outdoor use.
For a professional installation and a clean, finished look, add the compatible end caps and aluminum mounting clips or heavy-duty double-sided adhesive tape (Accessories are sold separately).
To ensure that you really get the look that you want, we have a selection of two diffusers to choose from
- Opaline: Looking for a cost effective, no-dot, continuous effect from a Strip with 120 or more LEDs per meter? The Opaline diffuser is what you are looking for! The Opaline diffuser will totally hide your strip when it’s turned off and render 55% of your Strip’s total light when it’s turned on. Note that this diffuser will affect the CCT of your Strip by about -215K
- Premium: The name speaks for itself! The Premium is the true professional’s choice! This diffuser provides an amazing light output of 73% (a mere loss of 27%) while only affecting the CCT of your Strip by only -30K. It’s the perfect match for our high CRI LED series as it will provide you with a uniform, dot free light effect. We recommend using the 2216-SOB 320 LED/m, CRI 90+ Strip or the CRI 90+ 10mm COB LED (also available in CCT White, RGB and RGB+W) to obtain a perfect lighting with this diffuser. This diffuser is also great for our 2835 High Output LED Strip. You will not get a continuous lighting effect with Strips at 120 LED/m with the Premium Diffuser.
