Each strand measures 3 meters in length with a slim 2.3mm El wire plus the integrated ridge and is available in seven vibrant colors: red, white, blue, orange, lime green, dark green, and pink.
New sewable EL wire model available! This upgraded version features a subtle integrated ridge that runs along the length of the wire, making it easy to stitch directly onto fabric. The ridge provides a natural guide for needle and thread, allowing the EL wire to sit securely and evenly on costumes, garments, and wearable designs, no glue or bulky clips required. It’s the perfect solution for designers, cosplayers, and DIY makers who want a clean, professional-looking finish while keeping full flexibility.
For complete portability, the EL wire can be powered by a 2×AA battery pack or an 8×AA battery pack for longer run times or extended installations (batteries not included). You may notice a faint hissing sound while the wire is operating, this is normal and caused by the built-in DC inverter, and the product is perfectly safe to use.
Choose your preferred power option from the drop-down menu on this page. Need more length? You can extend your 2.3mm EL wire setup up to 6 meters by adding a second 3-meter section. Mix and match colors if you like when selecting two different colors, a Y-shaped splitter is included so both wires connect seamlessly to a single power pack.
We’ve also introduced a sound-activated controller! Available exclusively in a 2×AA battery pack version (batteries not included), this controller lets you switch between sound-responsive flashing, steady on, and two flashing modes, perfect for music-driven environments and performances.
