The base kit includes a 5m cULus listed iP20 RGB+CCT Strip (60 LEDs per meter), a 24V 96W Plug-in Power Supply, an RGB+White E3-RF Multi Zone Controller and a FUT092 remote. You have the option to choose a different remote in the dropdown menu.
Standard RGB LED Strips are highly appreciated for their large choice of colors but pose a slight problem when the time comes to produce a white tint. Indeed, they use a mixture of basic colors (Red, Green and Blue) which produces a Cool White with accents that are bluish or even purple.
Traditional RGB + White LED strips, for their part, limit you to a single shade of white.
The cULus Listed LED RGB + Adjustable White Strip (also called CCT) from LED Montreal allows you to obtain the full spectrum of RGB shades IN addition to a variety of whites ranging from 2400K to 6500K. This chromatic prowess is accomplished thanks to the 5050 LED modules which each include 5 distinct lights: Red, Green, Blue, 2400K White and 6500K White. Each RGB + White LED Strip has 300 LEDs over 5 meters or if you prefer, 60 LEDs per meter, which gives it a great light output, regardless of the color chosen.
The Multi Zone RGB+CCT kit can be matched on the same remote as other Multi Zone kits. Simply add it to your set up as you would with any other Multi Zone item: set it on its own zone and you are ready to go. As always, make sure that it’s connected to its own power supply and controller, as the controller has a 5 wire output and the power supply has a 24V output.
Note that the RGB+CCT is offered in 24V. Given that this product runs on 24V, you cannot use a 12V power supply for this Strip or use the provided power supply to try and power up a 12V product. Furthermore, you will notice that this Strip is 12mm wide, therefore wider than the Standard 10mm RGB 5050 Strip. As well, given that this Strip offers 4 colors, it features 6 connectors unlike the Standard RGB Strip that normally features 4 connectors. This being said, solder less connectors are not available for this product. Should you require to cut and reconnect your RGB+CCT Strip, it can be cut every 6 LED et we suggest soldering wires directly on your Strip.
To set up the output mode:
Press the "SET" button continuously to switch the output mode to the Blue Light (RGB+CCT). The controller will log out if there's no operation within 3 seconds. Output modes are indicated by the color of the indicator light.
Red Light: RGB Strip (Not compatible with the strip included in this kit.)
Green Light: RGB+W Strip (Not compatible with the strip included in this kit.)
Blue Light: RGB+CCT Strip
Linking Code Instructions:
1. Connect your LED strip and transformer to the controller. Make sure the Strip turns on, then briefly press the SET button on the controller.
2. Briefly press the " | " button on the remote control 3 times within 3 seconds.
3. The lights will flash slowly 3 times to indicate a successful connection.
4. If the connection fails, repeat the steps.
Unlinking Code Instructions:
1. Turn off for 10 seconds by unplugging the transformer, then plug it back in.
2. Briefly press the " | " button on the remote control 5 times within 3 seconds.
3. The lights will flash rapidly 10 times to indicate a successful disconnection.
4. If the disconnection fails, repeat the steps.
Attention:
Turn off the power supply before installation.
Ensure the input voltage matches the device requirements.
Avoid using the device in areas with large metal surfaces or strong electromagnetic waves, as this may affect the remote distance.
