Our most popular solution for under-cabinet kitchen lighting. This kit brings together the three essential components of a professional linear lighting project in one easy-to-order and easy-to-install package.

The kit includes an 8 foot LED SOB Strip, or 2.5 meters, offering a brightness of 1700 lumens per meter. Available in multiple shades of white, it operates on 24V and has a total power consumption of 48 watts. Thanks to its SOB technology with 320 LEDs per meter, it provides uniform lighting with no visible dot effect.

For maximum flexibility, the LED Strip can be cut every 6.25mm. It is also equipped with one meter of wires at each end, allowing it to be easily divided to light two separate sections.

The second component of the kit is the LUX740 aluminum profile with a premium lens. Its anodized finish provides an elegant and durable appearance while ensuring excellent heat dissipation. The profile comes with one open end cap for wire passage and one closed end cap for a professional finish. If your project requires multiple sections or additional cuts, extra end caps are available separately. The profile can be installed under cabinets using 3M adhesive tape or mounting clips, sold separately.

The third component is the power supply, available in non-dimmable or dimmable versions. The dimmable version requires a dedicated circuit as well as a compatible standard 120V wall dimmer. For installations where no wall dimmer is available, we recommend the K1KIT with a non-dimmable power supply, which allows simple control of the light intensity.

This kit is an excellent starting point for most residential projects. For installations requiring longer lengths or specific configurations, we recommend selecting the components individually to better adapt the project to your needs.

In compliance with Canadian Electrical Standards, a 96 watt power supply can power up to 5 meters of LED Strip. For lengths exceeding 2.5m, you can build your own kit using either a 5m LED Strip or 2 x 2.5m if you would like four pre-soldered 1m connections.

Power supplies must be selected according to the total length of LED Strip to be powered. Allow for a minimum of 18 watts per meter to ensure an adequate operating margin.

For example:

3 meters of LED Strip: 60 watt power supply recommended 
4 meters of LED Strip: 80 watt power supply recommended 
5 meters of LED Strip: 96 watt power supply recommended

It is always preferable to choose the power supply model immediately above the calculated wattage. For projects exceeding 5m, additional power supplies or a custom configuration will be required.
