24V iP20 RGB+White LED Strip Kit 5 to 7.5m 60 LEDs/m

The base kit includes a 5m or 7.5m cULus listed RGB+W Strip (60 LEDs per meter), a 24V Power Supply, an RGB+White E3-RF Multi Zone Controller and a FUT096 remote. You have the option to choose a different remote in the dropdown menu.

Standard RGB Strips are appreciated because of their wide variety of colors but do tend to cause a slight problem when the time comes to reproducing white. Since the Standard RGB Strip uses a mix or Red, Blue and Green to makes colors, its version of the color white tends to be very blue or even purple.  

The UL Listed RGB + White Strip kit from LED Montreal will output the full RGB Spectrum PLUS a true White. This chromatic prowess is achieved with special 5050 Chips that integrate 4 separate lights: Red, Green, Blue and White. Each Strip features 300 Chips over a span of 5 meters, or if you prefer, 60 LEDs per meters, giving this Strip an amazing brightness, no matter what color you select. Note that the RGB+W Strip will only produce one shade of White, either it be warm white, natural white or cool white. You will be able to select the white you prefer when placing your order. With the FUT096 and B3 remote control, your Strip will produce only one color at a time, so it is not possible to mix white with another color. However, you can produce pastel shades (Colors + White) with the FUT092, C5 and Y3 remote controls.

The Multi Zone RGB+White kit can be matched on the same remote as other Multi Zone kits. Simply add it to your set up as you would with any other Multi Zone item: set it on its own zone and you are ready to go. As always, make sure that it’s connected to its own power supply and controller, as the controller has a 5 wire output and the power supply has a 24V output.

Note that the RGB+White is offered in 24V. Given that this product runs on 24V, you cannot use a 12V power supply for this Strip or use the provided power supply to try and power up a 12V product. Furthermore, you will notice that this Strip is 12mm wide, therefore wider than the Standard 10mm RGB 5050 Strip. As well, given that this Strip offers 4 colors, it features 5 connectors unlike the Standard RGB Strip that normally features 4 connectors. This being said, solder less connectors are not available for this product. Should you require to cut and reconnect your RGB+White Strip, it can be cut every 6 LED et we suggest soldering wires directly on your Strip.

To set up the output mode on the E3-RF:

Press the "SET" button continuously to switch the output mode to the Green Light (RGB+W). The controller will log out if there's no operation within 3 seconds. Output modes are indicated by the color of the indicator light.

Red Light: RGB Strip (Not compatible with the strip included in this kit.)

Blue Light: RGB+CCT Strip (Not compatible with the strip included in this kit.)

Linking Code Instructions:

1. Connect your LED strip and transformer to the controller. Make sure the Strip turns on, then briefly press the SET button on the controller.
2. Briefly press the " | " button on the remote control 3 times within 3 seconds.
3. The lights will flash slowly 3 times to indicate a successful connection.
4. If the connection fails, repeat the steps.

Unlinking Code Instructions:

1. Turn off for 10 seconds by unplugging the transformer, then plug it back in.
2. Briefly press the " | " button on the remote control 5 times within 3 seconds.
3. The lights will flash rapidly 10 times to indicate a successful disconnection.
4. If the disconnection fails, repeat the steps.

Attention:

Turn off the power supply before installation.
Ensure the input voltage matches the device requirements.
Avoid using the device in areas with large metal surfaces or strong electromagnetic waves, as this may affect the remote distance.
