It is crucial to note that this strip should not be used in its entirety in one continuous section. To comply with building codes, the maximum recommended length is 5 meters per section, due to the maximum transformer power limited to 96W (96W divided by 18W/m). This precaution is essential to ensure the safety of your installation.

The 2216-SOB LED Strip is not a simple evolution of LED strips; it is a true revolution. Thanks to its innovative design, it surpasses traditional LED strips on every level.

While standard LED strips can only be cut every 5cm or 2cm, the 2216-SOB stands out with unmatched precision, allowing cuts every 6.25mm. This feature lets you adjust the strip perfectly to the length of your aluminum profile, such as the LUX740, eliminating dark ends that are usually visible when the LED length doesn’t exactly match the profile.

Visually, the 2216-SOB offers a continuous effect similar to COB LED strips, but without the aesthetic drawback of the yellow coating. Its pure white surface pairs beautifully with the Premium lens of the LUX740, providing a smooth, dotless, and uniform light while maximizing luminous diffusion through its optimized transparency.

This LED strip uses surface-mounted LEDs (SMD) to create an even, soft, and continuous illumination with no visible dots or hot spots. This makes it ideal for applications that require pleasant, diffused lighting such as furniture, cabinetry, display cases, or decorative environments. The 2216-SOB combines flexibility, high energy efficiency, and superior light quality, with a color rendering index (CRI) of 90+ for natural and accurate color reproduction.

The 2216-SOB consumes 15 W/m, with a recommended power supply of 18 W/m for optimal performance. According to building code regulations, 24V products are limited to 96W per output, which means a maximum run length of 5 meters per power supply.

The strip measures 10mm in width and approximately 2.5mm in height. It is available in several color temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. Three lengths are available: 2.5m, 5m, and 25m.

The 2.5m and 5m versions are now equipped with a 1-meter wire on each end, allowing easy connection to compatible controllers. The strip is fully dimmable, either through a dimmable power supply or a compatible LED controller. The wire with long dashed lines indicates the negative (black equivalent), while the wire with printed text identifies the positive (red equivalent) in a standard wiring configuration.

Finally, the 2216-SOB is rated IP20, making it suitable for indoor use in dry or slightly humid environments. It is not coated with silicone, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and a clean visual finish. In addition, it features a high-quality 3M adhesive backing for strong, durable adhesion to clean, smooth surfaces.
