While standard LED strips can only be cut every 5cm or 2cm, the 2219-SOB stands out with unmatched precision, allowing cuts every 6.94mm. This feature lets you adjust the strip perfectly to the length of your aluminum profile, such as the LUX740, reducing the dark ends that are usually visible when the LED length does not exactly match the profile.

Visually, the 2219-SOB offers a smooth and uniform lighting effect while maintaining the clean white appearance of an SMD LED strip. Its pure white surface pairs beautifully with the Premium lens of the LUX740, providing soft and even illumination without visible LED dots.

For clients looking for an even slimmer installation, the 8mm width of the 2219-SOB also allows it to fit inside the LUX710 with a Premium diffuser. Due to the very shallow profile of the LUX710, a continuous line of light may remain visible through the diffuser, but individual LED dots will not be visible.

With a power consumption of only 10 W/m, the 2219-SOB produces minimal heat compared with higher-output LED strips. This reduced heat generation is what makes it suitable for compact aluminum profiles such as the LUX710. For proper heat dissipation and to ensure long-term performance, installation on an aluminum profile or another suitable heat-dissipating surface is still required.

This LED strip uses surface-mounted LEDs (SMD) to create an even, soft, and continuous illumination with no visible dots or hot spots. This makes it ideal for applications that require pleasant, diffused lighting such as furniture, cabinetry, display cases, shelving, accent lighting, or decorative environments.

The 2219-SOB combines flexibility, high energy efficiency, and superior light quality, with a color rendering index (CRI) of 90+ for natural and accurate color reproduction.

The 2219-SOB consumes 10 W/m. A 60W Class 2, 24V power supply is recommended for a 5 meter strip. Thanks to its lower power consumption, this product is also available in an 8 meter length, allowing longer continuous runs while remaining within North American Class 2 power requirements when used with the appropriate 24V power supply.

The strip measures 8mm in width. It is available in several color temperatures: 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, with the 3500K and 5000K coming soon.

Two lengths are available: 5m and 8m.

The 5m and 8m versions are equipped with a 1-meter wire on each end, allowing easy connection to compatible controllers and power supplies. The strip is fully dimmable, either through a dimmable power supply or a compatible LED controller. The white wire indicates the positive + (red equivalent), while the wire with long dashed lines indicates the negative - (black equivalent).

Finally, the 2219-SOB is rated iP22, making it suitable for indoor use in dry or slightly humid environments. It is not coated with silicone, helping maintain optimal heat dissipation and a clean visual finish. In addition, it features a high-quality 3M adhesive backing for strong, durable adhesion to clean, smooth surfaces.
