12V 6A (72W) Class 1 Power supply
This 12V 72W (6A) cULus certified power supply is a reliable solution for powering devices that require moderate output. It is a Class 1 transformer, which makes it unsuitable for powering low-voltage LED Strips. LED Strips must be powered by Class 2 transformers.
Class 2 transformers are designed to comply with specific maximum power limits: 60 watts at 12 volts and 96 watts at 24 volts. These limits meet electrical code safety requirements for low-voltage installations. If you are powering an LED Strip, make sure to use a transformer that complies with these standards.
