This 12V 96W (8A) cULus certified power supply is a reliable solution for powering devices that require higher output. It is a Class 1 transformer, which makes it unsuitable for powering LED Strips. Low-voltage LED Strips must be powered by Class 2 transformers.
Class 2 transformers are designed to comply with specific maximum power limits: 60 watts at 12 volts and 96 watts at 24 volts. These limits meet the safety requirements of the electrical code for low-voltage installations. If you're powering an LED Strip, make sure to use a transformer that meets these standards. If you require an LED lighting that demands 96W of power, we recommend switching to 24V products.Package includes:
