Clear Heat Shrink Tube (30 cm)

Using the Heat Shrink Tube from LED Montreal, you can protect your connections in a nice clean way. Simply use a heat gun to shrink it around your wires and connectors. For extra protection, you can use silicone to seal the ends before you shrink it. 

The clear heat shrink tube is perfect for 2216 and COB LED strips. It does not block brightness when installed over a solder joint, ensuring the first LEDs remain fully illuminated without altering their color tone.

If you intend on using the heat shrink directly on an iP65+ or iP67 Strip, please add some silicone directly on the strip prior to adding the heat shrink in order to maximize adherence and waterproofing.

The Heat Shrink Tube is sold in continuous length; for example, if you purchase five 30cm units, you will receive a single 1.5 meter long tube. 

Regular

The most common type. We offer 4 different width options:

Width 1 - 7mm diameter, shrinks down to 5mm diameter when heated
Width 2 - 8mm diameter, shrinks down to 4mm diameter when heated
Width 3 - 10mm diameter, shrinks down to 5mm diameter when heated
Width 4 - 12mm diameter, shrinks down to 6mm diameter when heated

Self-Sealing

The self-sealing heat shrink tube is clear and includes adhesive on the inside of the tubing, allowing the completion of the waterproofing process. It is the best choice to protect your connections for any outdoor project, providing you with full safety against humidity. If you intend on using the heat shrink directly on an iP67 Strip, please add some silicone directly on the strip prior to adding the heat shrink in order to maximize adherence and waterproofing.
