24V 5m iP67 10mm COB LED Strip for Sauna - White

Get a thin linear lighting effect (10mm wide and 5mm thick) that is also elegant and bright with LED Montreal's Continuous Lighting (Dot less) COB LED Strip. UL Certified for use in Canada and the United States, this COB LED Strip is available in various shades of white: 2700K (Warm White), 3000K (Warm White), 3500K (Soft White) and 4000K (Natural White). You can cut your thin COB Strip every 50mm and solder extension wires on the connection pads.  

Please note that our sauna COB strip light is currently available exclusively in white. We do not offer RGB or RGBW variants, as these are not suitable for high-temperature environments.

The 10mm iP67 COB LED Strip can withstand ambient temperatures up to 95 degrees Celsius and does not require heat dissipation. These unique characteristics make it the ideal lighting element for dry or wet saunas. We therefore suggest that you illuminate the underside of your seats with this LED COB Strip. It is not advisable to install it above 150 cm in height in high temperature places. Although most models are self-adhesive, the package does include 20 silicone clips and proper screws to facilitate installation. You will also find three silicone finishing caps, if you want to cut and waterproof the end of your LED Strip.

UPDATE: The 2700K, 3000K, and 3500K products are now equipped with a heat-resistant adhesive that can withstand temperatures up to 150°C, allowing for pre-installation before adding the support clips. While the adhesive is strong, we always recommend using support clips during the installation of the LED strip. The 4000K version is not self adhesive and is currently $20 off.

This professional-grade COB product has a 3OZ copper circuit board that allows for better lighting consistency and superior heat dissipation. Its high color rendering index (CRI) of more than 90 makes it a product of choice for the demanding customer. The COB LED Strip consumes 10W per meter at 24V DC. The 5m long Strip is equipped with a 1m cable at each end. Note that this listing is for the LED Strip only. The power supply is sold separately. Choose the correct power supply depending on total length required and dimming needs. 
 
To create an unparalleled atmosphere in the evening, you will be happy to learn that the COB LED Strip is fully dimmable using a remote or a wall panel with one of our low voltage dimmers and a standard LED diver or utilize an LED compatible wall dimmer when paired with our dimmable power supplies.

We have prepared for you a quick guide on what power supply to use, depending on the length of Strip that you plan on using. Note that UL certification and the Canadian Electrical Code limits the power supply at 96W max. The power supplies use free air cooling and should never be installed inside the sauna.

Note that if you wish to make your kit dimmable and do not have a dimmer switch available, you can use our K1KIT to control the strip’s intensity with a non dimmable driver.

If you do have a 120V dedicated dimmer switch available, you can use a dimmable driver. Once again, make sure that the driver sits in a dry and cool environment.
